Thirsty Thursday! (vol. 1) A Compilation
This article might be a little "rougher" than our usual fare ... sorry about that!
TT (or Thirsty Thursday for the slower ones out there) came about with dad long before "popular" culture and restaurants got hold of it! You see ... long before any of us Bupps came around (and before he was even on this place) dad and Donald used to celebrate TT every ... well - pretty much every Thursday! Neither of them generally had to work at their "official" jobs on Fridays ... pretty sweet deal??? Right??!!!
So, Thursday was a day for celebrating (or bitching and moaning - depending on the week that each of them had!) When they first started, it was on Donald's patio, dad's patio, or in dad's garage. After we moved out here and built the shop - it was almost always in the shop, or behind it (before there was a lean to and they were in the pasture letting H and mom-R run! Then, before they knew it ... other folks were joining in ... that was cool! The more the merrier right! The only rule was that if anyone started being a jerk - they had to go (but we mostly let Dale stay). After Donald died, TT's kept on for a year or so, then slowed down, and now it has pretty much stopped. See Long Time, No See for more info on this!
It's hasn't been easy ... but dad has kept up his end of the deal each and every Thursday evening!!!
Anyway, we've been collecting cartoons from the ol' www and SpaceBook and since we haven't been real sure how to "unleash" them on our audience ... we came up with re-vamping the TT idea! Hey ... it's just whatever we had laying around that we wanted to get rid of!!!
Hope you enjoy (or at least tolerate)!!! |

What is old friendship? It is

Shared laughter creates a bond of friendships.
When people laugh together, they cease to be young and old,
teacher and pupils, worker and boss.
They become a single group of human beings.

It is one of the blessings of old friends that you can afford to be

A true friend never gets in your way unless you happen to be going down.
