Happy New Years folks!!!! Here we are wrapping up 2016! Like every other year - there has been some good, and some bad. In reflecting over the year we are reminded that:

Dad and JC wandered around Cowtown (unsupervised!).
Gall completed a decade!
MR finally retired!
Dad and mom-D wandered around Mexico!
Philip had a tremendous loss in his life!
Dad and mom-D met Oliver Loving’s great-great-great granddaughter.
The first anniversary of Rooney and Patches deaths!
A started a new "high powered" job (and we are so proud!!)!
Dad and Philmo turned 50!! Sweater boy turned 45!
Drunk Henry moved far, far away!
Mom-D is a new aunt!
Some new folks have come into our lives! Some other folks have left!
Janell had a scary experience!
Dad and PF wandered (or staggered) around hunting camp (they were supervised by Cheech and Chong though! - cigars, not wacky weed!)!
PVF made it through a hellashish illness and surgery!
JC, himself, survived another round with Gout. We hope he took dad's advice and is now on preventatives!!!
Taffy found her forever home!
Miss Nancy recovered just fine from a bad horse wreck!
Mom-D made it through her surgery - though she is still recovering (dad says that she might be playing it up a little! : ) )!
We made it through a HORRENDOUS Presidential election cycle!
The Cowboys made the playoffs!
Merritt made it a full year around here - despite being bitten by a rattlesnake last spring!

As you look at our (very) abbreviated list - you see that we have celebrated and cried! We figure that that is what life is really all about! Of course, we all like laughing more than crying - but life comes with both. For this weeks post - we figured that we'd just give you some cartoons to ponder on!
